He talks about what lessons the West African Ebola outbreak holds for global health planning and emergency response. And he discusses the need to radically improve local <a href="https://www.scidev.net/health/">health</a> infrastructure in the affected countries, and to bring together different sectors and ways of thinking to respond to <a href="https://www.scidev.net/health/disease/">disease</a> outbreaks.<br />
