Roberto González studied Communicational Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he specialized as a journalist. In 2020 he started his professional career at Infobae México. Since then, he began to develop an interest in science and environmental journalism implementing Open-Source Investigative Techniques (OSINT). He also worked as a cultural events manager for the tour of the documentary Open the Earth (Abrir la Tierra) and coordinated the communication area of the civil association IDHEAS. Most recently he ventured into human rights journalism while working with relatives of missing persons in Mexico.
