Atalanti Moquette is the Founder and Vice-Chair of Giving Women. She received a BA Hons. In Philosophy and Ancient Greek at King’s College London. She continued her postgraduate studies in Art History at the University of Toronto. Atalanti has a long involvement in the field of philanthropy. She began at the grassroots level, running a life skills programme in a shelter for battered women. Her work ranged from fundraising to strategy development. Atalanti has also held positions on many boards. She was Vice-president of the Board of International School of Geneva for four years and a member of the executive board of the Fondation Philanthropique Orthodoxe. She is a founder member of the Geneva committee of Human Rights Watch. She is a founding member of GenevaWISE, an association, which provides bursaries for young graduates from developing countries, allowing them to benefit from internships in Geneva. Atalanti has recently been appointed to the Board of the IBO.
