Lorena Guzmán H. is a science journalist based in Santiago, Chile and since 2019 writes articles for SciDev.Net. She is currently a journalist at the Life, Science and Technology section at El Mercurio newspaper (Santiago, Chile) and correspondent journalist of DialogoChino.net. She has been a communications advisor for organizations related to science and technology, such as the Institute of Astrophysics UC and Inria Chile, and she was also the PR/liaison for Latin America of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, based in Germany. She also collaborated in Scientific American in Spanish.
 
Lorena has a Master's degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) and is currently a candidate for a Master's degree in Innovation from the Catholic University (Chile).
