Ijeoma Ukazu is a journalist from Nigeria and a graduate from Institute of Management and Technology, (IMT) Enugu State, Nigeria with Upper Credit in Mass Communication and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Journalism from the National Open University of Nigeria. She corresponds for SciDev.Net’s Sub-Saharan Africa English Edition.
She is also a freelancer working with various media outlets such as The Abuja Inquirer Newspaper. Her major beat is health, The Daily Newswave – an online platform reporting various burning global issues.
Ijeoma is diligent, hardworking and she believes it is the path to success. She is an award winning journalist with track records of success in the health beat. She has travelled to 26 States in Nigeria for training organised by UNICEF, Pathfinder International, Ipas, Marie Stopes amongst others.
