Samuel Otieno is a science and technology journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya, and is one of the SciDev.Net Sub-Saharan Africa Edition correspondents. Otieno has also contributed to a number of internationally recognised media outlets such as Thomson Reuters, Offgrid Nigeria, Inter Press Service News Agency and University World News.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information, Communication, Technology & Management from Maseno University, Kenya. Otieno is also a certificate for Gates Foundation Science Journalism Training Workshop from Rhodes University, South Africa.
