Kashmir dispute hits India-Pakistan science links
Pakistani researchers due to travel next month to a conference on DNA fingerprinting in Hyderabad, India, have been refused visas by the Indian government.
Y.P. Yumar, head of the international division at India’s science ministry, says that it is unlikely that scientific cooperation will be restored until political relations between the two countries have returned to normal.
