SciDev.Net was recognised for its contribution towards the founding and support of the Egyptian Science Week. SciDev.Net’s Regional Coordinator accepted the recognition from Egypt’s Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the event attended by over 10,000 people. SciDev.Net has held annual seminars at the Egyptian Science Week each year. The 2018 event was organised by a group of young people and scientists. Egyptian Science Week is aimed at increasing awareness and interest in science, technology and innovation and to connect young people and scientists.
