CHEMA Programme, a Tanzanian NGO that works in the rural Kagera region, develops stoves that are designed to be a good match for available fuel resources and local people’s cooking habits. It aims to preserve the environment, produce energy from organic waste and empower women and girls by alleviating their daily tasks.
