A new research programme to boost scientific collaboration between Sweden and
developing countries has been launched by the Swedish International Development Co-operation agency and the Swedish Research Council.

‘Swedish Research Links’ has funds of 10 million SEK (US$1 million) per year to support joint research projects involving researchers from both Sweden and from developing countries.

In particular, the programme is oriented towards developing nations with relatively strong resources in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

Researchers in all fields of science can apply for funds of up to 1 million SEK (US$96,800) per project distributed over four years.
