Profile

Marina Lemle is a freelance journalist for SciDev.Net, based in Brazil.

She has a master degree in science communication by Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz, Brasil). Currently, she edits the Blog of the scientific journal History, Science, Health – Manguinhos http://www.revistahcsm.coc.fiocruz.br/ and its Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RevistaHCSM/. She has contributed sporadically to SciDev.Net since 2004. 
 
Marina began her career in 1993 in the Jornal da Ciência, the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science. In the major press, she worked in science and technology coverage (O Globo, Jornal do Brasil). She also worked for NGOs dedicated to public security, traffic safety and environment, and in government agencies (Rio de Janeiro Research Foundation and Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Brazil).
