How improved technology can battle climate change



The introduction of adequate technologies is crucial to easing climate change impacts and building resilience, but international agreements over their transfer often fail to meet their goals.
 
To tackle the problem, the UN Environment Programme assesses the technology needs of climate-vulnerable countries and helps them overcome the barriers to adopting and developing suitable technological infrastructure.
