International Council for Science

ICSU is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1931 that brings together natural scientists in international scientific endeavour. Its membership comprises 101 multi-disciplinary national science academies and research councils, and 27 international single-discipline science unions. The council uses this broad range of expertise to create international inter-disciplinary programmes. It also organises international meetings such as the World Summit on Information Society, and offers a number of grants. {{LINK_LABEL_GO_TO_WEBSITE}}
