Durham University wishes to appoint a part-time (0.5 FTE) Research Associate for 6 months to work with the Deputy Director of the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing (Dr Mark Booth) on the development of a concept linking renewable energy to sustainable communities, specifically in Sub Saharan Africa (the Universal Sustainable Habitat Development – USHD). The post will be based at the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing, Queens Campus, Stockton on Tees. The post-holder will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of collaborators from the academic, commercial, Governmental, International NGO and International Development sectors. Candidates must have demonstrable (post-graduate) relevant work experience work in an area related to International Development. The post is open to candidates with demonstrable skills and experience in secondary data analysis, policy analysis, proposal writing, and report writing.
