Offshore Operations Manager

Oxford HR is working with a flagship development programme to recruit an Offshore Operations Manager based in Wellington, New Zealand. Our client is delivering a donor funded program in the education sector across the Asia Pacific region. As the programme is in its early stages, the client and programme are confidential and will be disclosed at the short listing stage. About you In a role of this scope, a depth of management experience involving in-country or field operations is essential. Your leadership skills will be second to none –inspiring, motivating and guiding cross-cultural teams, generating trust and confidence of partners and stakeholders, and representing the programme across a number of countries. An outstanding relationship builder with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, you will have an excellent understanding of programming in an international development context. Whether that means you’re currently a member of senior management for a not-for-profit organisation, working at a high level in the education sector with a working knowledge of programming and international development, or an experienced programme manager or team leader on development programmes, you’ll be politically astute with first rate communication skills and not afraid to solve problems. A qualifications check and police check will be required for all short-listed candidates.
