Q&A: Shining a light on the world’s future stars

In this podcast, recorded during the 6th World Science Forum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last month, Mande Holford, assistant professor at the City University of New York, United States, talks about her life in science and the young researchers she hopes to reach through WAYS (the World Association of Young Scientists). The organisation aims to empower young natural and social scientists by getting their voices heard by policymakers around the world. Mande says: “We want to shine the light on the stars”.
