Rockefeller Foundation

The Rockefeller Foundation is a US-based philanthropic organisation operating globally. Its mission is to enrich and sustain the lives and livelihoods of poor and excluded people around the world. The activities of the Rockefeller Foundation are centrally concerned with the use of knowledge for development, particularly harnessing the benefits of science and technology to tackle the problems of development and poverty alleviation. The focus of the foundations’ science- and technology-based work is in agriculture and health.
