Egypt reports fresh bird flu infection among poultry

New bird flu strain stresses need for greatest surveillance

Indonesian teenager dies of suspected bird flu
A 17-year old Indonesian boy from Banjarnegara, Indonesia's Central Java province has died after coming into contact with sick poultry, samples have been sent to a Jakarta laboratory to confirm the case (Source: People's Daily).
