The Global Campaign for Microbicides is an international organisation that aims to build awareness and political support for investment in microbides research and development, access and use. Its key activities are advocacy, policy analysis and social sciences research, in collaboration with partner organisations. One of the website's highlights is a summary of the main facts and issues around microbicides, such as mechanisms of action, rationale for use, safety, availability, potential for contraception, and economics.
