The National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) North-South invites you to participate in the 3rd International Conference on Research for Development (ICRD 2012):  Research for Global Transformation from 20 - 22 August 2012 in Bern, Switzerland.

The conference will thus contribute to the international agendas currently being redrawn in view of Rio+20. Indeed, the post-Rio+20 era will require adapted policy frameworks, research approaches, and donor environments in order to seek synergies between research partnership projects in the North and the South and jointly identify entry points and pathways to sustainable development.

Individual and/or project groups who work in partnership with each other are invited to contribute to the conference. Please send your proposals for sessions and abstracts to the conference secretariat by 31 January 2012.
