Future International Action on Climate Change Network

This network was developed by a German company, Ecofys, upon the initiative and with support from the Federal Environmental Agency of Germany and the European Commission. The purpose of the website is to provide an interactive international platform for discussion on future international action on climate change, including approaches of a post-2012 commitment regime under the UNFCCC and the Kyoto Protocol. The site could be of interest to researchers, climate modellers, members of country delegations to the UNFCCC, NGOs and any other individuals interested in the topic.

Global Climate Network

The Global Climate Network — a coalition of nine think tanks from the developed and developing world — publishes news, commentary and reports on climate policy. It considers what technologies and financial instruments governments must put in place to combat climate change, as well as the policies needed to promote rapid growth in climate-friendly innovations and exploit new economic opportunities.

The network lists upcoming events related to climate policy and hosts a blog where network members post news and opinions.

Household Energy Network (HEDON)

HEDON is an online forum dedicated to household energy efficiency in the South. It aims to build a network of practitioners, policymakers, funders, and business-owners to collect and disseminate information on local, national, regional and international energy efficiency initiatives in the household energy sector.

HEDON publishes a journal, Boiling Point, with freely available archives dating back to 1982 as well as information on key topics, including forestry, gender, climate change and policy. It also publishes relevant news, events and announcements.
