AfricaAdapt is a bilingual (English/French) network of African researchers, policymakers, civil society organisations and local communities that encourages information sharing on climate change adaptation for Africa.

The network publishes information on its activities including workshops, innovation funding, radio programmes in local languages and news services for mobile phones. It also publishes video, audio and photo stories to present community perspectives on climate change adaptation methods. It links to key organisations and publications on adaptation in several fields including agriculture, fisheries, forestry, energy, water and health.

This programme was set up by several nongovernmental organisations to promote sustainable agriculture and natural resource management in developing nations. It aims to facilitate the use of indigenous knowledge to help farmers devise systems to cope with change, achieve food security, sustain livelihoods and protect the environment. It also works towards integrating local innovations into formal agricultural research.

The website offers information on projects arranged by country and project theme, as well as relevant news and events. It also publishes extensive resources including links to publications, training materials and a gallery with audiovisual resources.

The aim of the Water Governance Programme for Arab States (WGP-AS) is to improve the use and management of scarce water resources in Arab countries by promoting an integrated approach and supporting the achievements of the Millennium Development Goal 7.

It also addresses cross-cutting areas such as adaptation to climate change, trans-boundary water management and gender mainstreaming. The website publishes free-to-access reports, events, as well as information on past and current projects.
