EN | 中文

The Chinese version handbook Reporting Climate Change: Knowledge, vision and approaches is posted in the Chinese version website Climate Change Media Online (http://www.climatereporting.cn), which is operated by China Science Reporting Network (CSRN)/Climate Change Journalist Club (The club has the same organization with the CSRN) with the funding from British Council China. The handbook is written and compiled by working journalists from China by combining basic knowledge, reporting experience and the British Council’s series of journalistic workshops on climate change.

The handbook consists of four chapters – basic science of climate change, climate change and the economy, climate change and diplomacy and how to report climate change. Jia Hepeng, SciDev.Net’s Regional Coordinator for China, who is also the founder of China Science Reporting Network /Climate Change Journalist Club, is the chief editor of the book as well as the author of chapter four on how to report climate change.

Full texts of the handbook have been posted as a Word file in the Climate Change Media Online (http://www.climatereporting.cn/sub.aspx?id=915). The print version, which is delicately designed, will be freely distributed in activities of British Council China/China Science Reporting Network /Climate Change Journalist Club.

Due to the limited capacity of the writers/organizers, no mailing service is offered for the free handbook.
