The CARSO Health Institute, a Carlos Slim Foundation Initiative, is pleased to announce its third call for the Carlos Slim Award in Health, for 2010.

The Carlos Slim Award recognizes outstanding people and institutions who are committed to improving the health of the Latin American and Caribbean population. It supports solutions that solve the primary public health challenges faced by the region – through research, innovation of care programmes, or development of innovative strategies and public goods.
