Open Development Cambodia (ODC) is a website that collects and publishes public domain data about Cambodia and its economic and social development. It also prepares maps and visualisation tools. Its aim is to promote openness and transparency, providing data for free for NGOs, journalists, researchers and other stakeholders.

In this audio slideshow, Thy Try, executive director and editor-in-chief of ODC, explains why data collected for public interest should be openly available without restrictions. He also discusses how open data can provide useful and objective information about a country and its development.
